Free Initial Consultation

You are entitled to a free 20-minute discovery call. Note that no therapy will be offered during this time. This session aims to explain the process and discuss a plan for sessions moving forward. Based on the information provided, an estimate of the number of sessions needed will be given. These estimates are general and may change.

Booking & Payment

In-person Sessions: A 50% deposit is necessary when booking your first in-person session. The remaining balance is due at least 48 hours before the session. Cancellations within 48 hours will not be refunded.

Online Sessions: You must pay a 50% deposit and complete total payment 48 hours before your online session. If payment is not made 48 hours in advance, the session will be cancelled and offered to someone else. Ensure all session fees are paid in advance to confirm your booking.

Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refunds

Cancellation & Rescheduling: Please notify us via email or phone at least 48 hours before your session if you need to cancel or reschedule. All required forms must be completed 48 hours before the session, or it will be cancelled or rescheduled at Charlie Nightingale’s discretion, with no refunds provided.

Refunds: No refunds are available for cancellations made within 48 hours of your session. Fees cover my time and expertise, and successful outcomes cannot be guaranteed. If you discontinue a prepaid program, refunds may be given at Charlie Nightingale's discretion.

Session Fees: Fees will be disclosed before booking, and rates may change. You will be informed of any fee changes beforehand.

Payment Methods: You can pay via Wix Payment, PayPal, or Stripe.

Packages: These sessions are prepaid packages valid for 6 months from purchase. Extensions are at Charlie Nightingale’s discretion.

 

Contact Between Sessions

Contact between sessions will be limited to office hours (9 AM - 6 PM) via phone messages or calls, and email.

 

Medical or Psychological Conditions

I may inquire about your medical history to identify any treatment contraindications and assess whether your health affects your goals. Update me on any medical changes during your package. If you’re under medical care, you may need permission from your healthcare provider before starting the work. Note that I may not be able to offer services if you have epilepsy or psychosis.

 

Age Restrictions

You must be 18 or older for online sessions. Clients under 18 must have a parent or guardian present.

 

Attending Your Sessions

Please be on time for your sessions. If you’re running late, inform me as soon as possible. Extending your session time will depend on the schedule and cannot be guaranteed.

Hypnotherapy Recordings

Do not listen to hypnotherapy recordings while driving, operating machinery, or doing anything requiring your full concentration. Recordings are for your use only and must not be shared, lent, copied, or sold.

 

Outcome of Sessions

There are no guarantees for resolving issues; however, I will use my best efforts and skills to work towards your goals.

 

Standards of Behaviour

I will treat you with respect during sessions. In return, do not harm yourself, others, or property. Do not attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs - sessions will be cancelled if this occurs, with no refunds.

 

Confidentiality

All contact is confidential and may be recorded with your consent. Confidentiality will only be broken if:

  1. You permit it.

  2. Required by law.

  3. Harm to yourself or others is possible, fraud or crime is involved, or minors are involved.

  4. A report is requested by a referring healthcare provider (a copy will be provided upon request).

 

Liability & Indemnity

Charlie Nightingale is not liable for any damages arising from advice or information provided. You agree to settle Charlie Nightingale any claims resulting from your participation in the services.

 

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be settled in English courts.

Terms and Conditions Updates

These terms may be revised without notice. Please review them if returning after a long absence.

  • All sessions must be paid for upfront. Please provide three working days' notice for any changes or cancellations. Refunds will not be provided for missed appointments, and prepaid courses are non-refundable.

  • If you are over 15 minutes late, you might not be seen.

  • Payments can be made via Wix Payment or PayPal. You will receive an email with all session details, including the Zoom link, upon booking confirmation, as well as payment instructions.

  • To book an initial consultation, please complete the contact form with your details. Note that there might be a slight waiting period depending on the time of year and client load.

  • If you have any medical conditions or are on medication that may affect your treatment, it is your responsibility to inform us prior to your first consultation.

  • Your data will primarily be stored both as a hard copy in a locked cabinet and on my password-protected computer, saved under your first name and last initial. Your phone number(s) will be saved in my mobile phone with your first name and last initial. Access to your information is restricted to me only.

  • Your details and session notes will be kept for the duration required by my insurer (currently 7 years). After this period, all documents with your personal information will be destroyed, and your phone number will be deleted from my mobile phone.
